If you are about to use the GPEDIT method, you must first add the Zoom’s Group Policy template. Otherwise, you can use the Registry Editor method. For your information, you need to disable a few settings using either GPEDIT or REGEDIT.

To force users to sign in with Google or Facebook on Zoom using the Local Group Policy Editor follow these steps:

  1. Press Win+R to open the Run prompt.
  2. Type gpedit.msc and press the Enter button.
  3. Go to Zoom General Settings in the Computer Configuration.
  4. Double-click on Disable login with SSO setting.
  5. Select the Enabled option.
  6. Click the OK button.
  7. Double-click on the Disable login with email and password setting.
  8. Select the Enabled option.
  9. Click the OK button.
  10. Restart the Zoom app.

Here you can see two settings on the right side: Disable login with SSO and Disable login with email and password. You need to double-click on each setting, select the Enabled option, and click the OK button.

To make Zoom users sign in with Google or Facebook account using the Registry Editor, follow these steps:

  1. Press Win+R to open the Run dialog.
  2. Type regedit, press the Enter button, and click the Yes option.
  3. Go to Policies in HKLM.
  4. Right-click on Policies > New > Key.
  5. Name it Zoom.
  6. Right-click on Zoom > New > Key.
  7. Name it as Zoom Meetings.
  8. Right-click on Zoom Meetings > New > Key.
  9. Name it as General.
  10. Right-click on the empty space > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.
  11. Name it as DisableLoginWithEmail.
  12. Double-click on it to set the Value data as 1.
  13. Click the OK button.
  14. Create another REG_WORD value named DisableLoginWithSSO.
  15. Set the Value data as 1.
  16. Restart your computer.

To get started, press Win+R, type regedit and hit the Enter button. If the UAC prompt appears, click the Yes option to open Registry Editor on your computer.

Next, navigate to the following path:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREPolicies

Here you have to create some sub-keys. For that, right-click on the Policies and select the New > Key option. Then, name it Zoom.

Next, right-click on the Zoom key, select New > Key, and name it Zoom Meetings. After that, right-click on this newly created key, and select the New > Key option from the context menu. You need to name it General.

In the General key, you have to create a REG_DWORD value. For that, you can right-click on the empty space on the right side, and select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value.

Name it as DisableLoginWithEmail and double-click on it to set the Value data as 1.

Click the OK button to save the change. Next, you need to create another DWORD (32-bit) Value in the General key. You can repeat the aforementioned steps to get it done and name it DisableLoginWithSSO.

By default, it also carries the Value data of 0. You need to double-click on this REG_DWORD value and set the Value data as 1.

Click the OK button to save the change.

At last, close all windows and restart your computer.

If you want to revert the change in Registry Editor, you need to navigate to the same path to delete the REG_DWORD values or change their value data to 1.
