Using GPEDIT

To disable Graphing in Calculator on Windows 10 using the Group Policy Editor, follow these steps-

  1. Press Win+R to open the Run prompt.
  2. Type gpedit.msc and hit the Enter button.
  3. Navigate to Calculator in User Configuration.
  4. Double-click on Allow Graphing Calculator setting.
  5. Select Disabled.
  6. Click on Apply and OK buttons to save changes.

Open the Local Group Policy Editor on your computer. Although there are several methods, you can use the Run prompt to do that. Press Win+R to open the Run prompt, type gpedit.msc, and hit the Enter button to get started. After opening the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to this path-

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Calculator

On the right-hand side, you will see a setting called Allow Graphing Calculator. By default, it is saved as Not configured.

Double-click on it, select Disabled and click on Apply and OK buttons to save the change.

Following that, you won’t find the Graphing feature in the Calculator app.

To turn off Graphing in Calculator on Windows 10 using the Registry Editor, follow these steps-

  3. Navigate to the Calculator in HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
  4. Double-click on AllowGraphingCalculator.

  6. Click OK to save the change.

If not, right-click on the Calculator key, select New > DWORD (32-bit) Value, and name it as AllowGraphingCalculator.

Then, make sure that the value is set as 0. If not, double-click on it, set the value as 0, and click the OK button to save the change.
